Bonfire Night

Hi everyone,
So earlier this month we had bonfire night and across the UK I know there have been several firework displays. But the beauty of where I live (top floor flat) means that I get to see quite a few displays for free from my living room and kitchen windows. So I avoid the loud noises plus the cold. We have a few parks and schools close by who did do firework displays and we heard they were amazing.
I did go once to a firework display at Hatfield House in Hertfordshire (quite a few years ago now) and it was incredible. Lots of colour, different types of fireworks plus food trucks as well. It meant that everyone was catered for.
As exciting as they are, fireworks can also be dangerous so always stand well back and ensure that a professional does the display. A dear friend of mine always had a firework display when I was growing up for her birthday in October. There was always someone who knew exactly what they were doing, who did it in a safe manor and a great distance from us. There were also sparklers which I enjoyed. Treasured memories.
Did you go to a firework display? Or did you watch from your window like me?
Let us know,
Lily xxxx
