Garlic Bread

Hi everyone,
One of the nation's favourite cuisines is Italian. Quite often people think I can't be asked to make my own garlic bread or my own pasta etc. To be honest unless you have a few hours on your hands it can be a daunting task.
Having said that I have a shortcut way to making Garlic Bread that literally takes 10 minutes to prepare and 5-10 minutes to cook. This recipe is ideal if you only have a baguette and some pasta to hand when someone calls last minute to tell you they are visiting you (this has happened to me before).
Ingredients:
A French stick (or part baked baguettes)
50g Garlic Puree (almost half the tube)
50g Butter
A handful of Parsley or any herbs you have in the cupboard
Cheese (optional)
Method:
Cut up the French stick into even slices
In a bowl mix the butter, garlic puree and parsley or herbs until combined
Spread an even amount of the garlic butter onto each slice
Add some grated cheese on top (optional)
Heat under the grill for 5-10 minutes on the lowest temperature.
Serve immediately.
Enjoy!
Lily
