Lunch with Esther & David

Hi everyone,

Our final post for the week. On Sunday (St Patrick's Day) we had the pleasure of seeing our friends Esther & David (who we haven't seen in such a long time- it was way overdue!) We met up with them at The Signal Box pub in Euston Station. The Signal Box is a great place for food allergies and their allergy menu is extensive which is great for me.

I had Haddock & Chips followed by an Apple & Blackberry Crumble, Duncan had a Burger & Chips, David had the Soup of the Day (Carrot & Coriander) and Esther had the Nut Roast (which she says was amazing!) All in all, it was a lovely meal with lovely company. We had a lot to catch up on and honestly time ran away with us as they had to catch a train at 2:30pm. Esther & David live up in Cumbria and the air is so much fresher up there compared to London. It is also more peaceful and quiet. We hope to visit them next time as we love the Lake District and Cumbria as a whole.

Duncan & Esther have known each other for a long time. They met at university and became firm friends. I've known Esther since Duncan & I started dating and she's really great and we get along so well. David and Duncan also get along very well with their mutual love of railways!
