Planning Meals

Hi everyone,

Anyone use a meal planner? I couldn't function on a weekly basis without one! I plan all my meals monthly as well as chores for the house. It doesn't always go to plan mind, but better to be planned and prepared especially if you've got a busy household.

My current meal planner I brought from the Card Factory. They have a similar one to mine online (I brought mine in store).

They are incredibly handy alongside a family organiser to keep on top of things in your diary as well as meals etc.

The Card Factory also sell family organisers too. Although we have no children, we have multiple birthdays most months, events, work commitments, hobbies etc so having a family organiser really helps (from a space point of view).

This is also a perfect opportunity to have your family's input too. On the weekend's why not be a bit creative and let the children decide (within reason) what they'd like to eat/create food wise? From a chores prospective, maybe see if they can tidy away their toys at the end of the week? Or put their clothes away in their drawers etc.

I used to love helping my mum wash dishes in the kitchen when I was about 11. It would be something fun for us to do together and we'd have a bit of a sing song too. Probably one of the reasons why I can't cook/bake or clean my house without some music on in the background.

Do you plan meals & chores?

How do you do it?

Do you involve your family?

Do you play music in the background?

Do let us know your thoughts,

Lily x
