Summer

As Summer kicked off, I realised something. Whilst I'm not working due to shielding during Lock-down, I have deciphered that I should be more adventurous when it comes to baking and cooking. Most recently I have made a Veggie Stew with Couscous (which was VERY SWEET I might add! Too many tomatoes!) One thing I have learnt over this time period so far is that it's a game of trial and error and as long as you don't burn food it should come out okay if not perfect.
This theory also comes to light for relationships. I know it's been difficult for some couples out there. But there's one blessing in being in Lock-down, you still have each other and the most important thing in a relationship is to remember to love each other no matter what, to say 'I Love You' to each other everyday, and to give and take in your relationship.
I don't have the 'Perfect' marriage the magazines portray (nor does the people on the cover) but what I do have is a caring, loving husband who loves me just as I am and doesn't expect me to change anything about my appearance etc.
So in light of this, I challenge you. Cook a meal or bake something with your other half. Let me know via social media what you made and how it went.
I plan to make something tomorrow with Dunks (as he is affectionately known). I'll post up on FaceBook and on our Instagram the results.
Happy cooking and/or baking
Love in Christ
