Valentine's Day

Hi everyone,

So Valentine's day is just around the corner and I know sometimes we can go over the top but this year I'm all about one thing- showing love to all and doing so in a heartfelt way. One of the ways to do this, is by making something homemade. For those who want to go old school maybe a mix tape? For those tech savvy maybe a video showering the person you love with lots of love? For those crafty types maybe a scrapbook with little love notes, quotes etc in?

The possibilities are endless and you don't have to be in a relationship nor married to show someone a little love. I have a few friends who get together with some of their friends and go for a meal together for example. My husband and I don't go nuts either. A card is enough in my book and I'm not one for red roses (my pollen allergy saves him a fortune ha ha). But each to their own.

Over the next few blogs we'll be bringing you our cheesy love songs, our favourite love quotes (including some from the Bible), how to create a delicious meal at home that doesn't cost the earth and more.

One thing I would ask of you all, is do check in with your friends/family etc- see how they are doing and show a little love to all.
