Hi everyone,
So generally our blog is about food and baking but I couldn't not highlight three shows on TV currently that are amazing!
Masterchef: The Professionals
I love Masterchef. I learn so much from it and it always leaves me flourishing with ideas. This version of Masterchef is presented by Gregg Wallace and Monica Galetti & Marcus Wareing are the chefs who put chefs from all over the UK through their paces. A lot of the time, you can see what a chef is going to be like from the skills test. Both Monica and Marcus show us (the audience) what they want the chefs to do/make and how to do it, then 2 chefs each conduct Monica and Marcus' skills tests respectively.
I find the skills test to be the hardest as you have no idea what you are walking into. You could be the most experienced chef of the bunch yet still struggle with the skills test.
Strictly Come Dancing:
I am an avid fan of Strictly Come Dancing. From the professional dances to the creativity from the teams that work behind the scenes for each performance by the celebrities and their professional dance partners. It is a work of art each week. At the moment, I am Team Tasha, Team Chris and Team Pete. They have all worked hard in their own right and are the best so far (to me). But we'll see who will win.
I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!:
I'm a Celeb reminds me of what foods not to eat or cook with unless I train to do so. I wouldn't want to mess it up. I have to give the celebrities credit, they do try hard with the trials and to survive in the jungle. Over the years we have seen plenty of arguments and celebrities outright refusing to do trials because of said arguments or being difficult, but sometimes it does make me laugh. Who could forget Gillian McKeith or Lady Colin Campbell for example?
But this year I am Team Danny and Team Oti. Bring it on!
