Hey everyone,

It's day three of our Valentine's Month on the blog! Today we are talking about places you can go (if you don't fancy cooking at home) for a romantic Valentine's dinner. Now it doesn't have to be The Ritz or The Savoy- not that there's anything wrong with them but sometimes going to a restaurant that isn't well known as well as a hidden gem can be amazing.

Now maybe you're thinking, what if I want a taste of everything? Italian, French, Gastropub etc. Well you can! I've never done it before but it's on my to do list! Why not restaurant hop? Start of with a drink and appetisers in one place, a starter in another and so on.

For example:

Start of with a cocktail and starter at Lyaness https://lyaness.com/

Then for your main course head to Dalloway Terrace https://dallowayterrace.com/

For pudding- one of the best places I've been to has to be Caffè Concerto- their patisserie is exquisite https://www.caffeconcerto.co.uk/

And finally for after dinner drinks and maybe a little dancing try The Piano Works in Farringdon https://pianoworks.bar/venues/tpw-farringdon/

Or maybe you're thinking what about a tasting menu? Many of the Michelin starred restaurants offer this. You can find out more on their website:

This is their London guide but there are Michelin starred restaurants across the UK.

One restaurant in London that has caught my eye on this list is Mere restaurant on Charlotte St, Fitzrovia. Owned by Monica Galetti and her husband David, Mere opened in March 2017 and has been thriving ever since. They have a 6 course tasting menu which not only looks delicious but is presented with such flair.

But if in fact you do want to cook or buy something from the supermarket to heat up at home so you can cosy up by the fireplace then that's just as romantic! Lots of supermarkets do a deal like 'Dine in for £20' by M&S, or maybe you want to cook a nice rack of lamb or steak?

Whatever option you choose, just ensure that you enjoy each other's company and have a lovely time.

And most importantly what ever you do- always tell each other 'I love you' every day.

Love,

Lily
